Fruits of the Spirit

So why is it that the Fruits of the Spirit are so hard to hold on to? You can be having an awesome day. You've got peace, joy, love for all, the works. And then it happens... one person says or does something that is so annoying, so, so.... well you know and "poof" that peace just evaporates and in it's place comes anger, frustration and a host of other unwanted emotions. Lord help me to not ruled by my emotions but to instead keep my eyes fixed on you. The author and finisher of our faith. Only you can help through the day and prune me so that I can bear the fruit you want me to.
